Barbados YouthADVANCE Corps Trainees 2021 Examinations

At the June/July 2021 sitting of the Caribbean Examinations Council, Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate Examinations, trainees of the Barbados YouthADVANCE Corps gained twenty-nine passes, including three (3) grade ones, and seven (7) grade twos.  This brings to date the total number of passes in this programme to over 540 passes across a range of academic and technical subject areas.

The Barbados YouthADVANCE Corps registered for the first time in 2021 students for examinations with City and Guilds of London Institute, through its regional office in Jamaica for examinations for the Certificate in English and the Certificate in Mathematics at Stages 1 and 2. 

Overall there were forty-eight (48) males receiving passing grades and thirty-five (35) females.

There were seven (7) distinctions, twenty-six (26) merits and fifty (50) ordinary passes with the total being eighty-three (83) passes. 

Hence, we congratulate the trainees on a job well done and look forward to more successes at the May/June 2022 sittings of the City and Guilds of London Institute and the Caribbean Examinations Council.
